1) Word: Histamine.

Meaning: is an important protein involved in many allergic reactions. Allergies are caused by an immune response to a normally innocuous substance (i.e. pollen, dust) that comes in contact with lymphocytes specific for that substance, or antigen.

Context: Biology class. "Article about Diseases".

2) Word: Culprit.

Meaning: A culprit, properly the prisoner at the bar, is one accused of a crime. The term is used, generally, of one guilty of an offence. In origin the word is a combination of two Anglo-French legal words, culpable, guilty, and prit or prist, i.e. prest, Old French for pret, ready. ...

Context: Biology class. "Article about Diseases".

3) Word: Posted.

Meaning: Payment received in our offices and processed by our staff and applied to the account in question. This does not refer to the date a postal transmission is initiated (postmarked) or the date of an email. It is the date actual payment is applied to the account.

Context: My Internship Site.

4) Word: Enclosed.

Meaning: "the enclosed check is to cover shipping and handling".

Context: My Internship Site.

5) Word: Capricious.

Meaning: Unpredictable; Change a lot.

Context: English SAT prep.
